Still Alive. Barely.

Yes, I did just post a Street Fighter 4 screenshot
All right, quick little status update for everyone and then a fun little bonus video at the end.
So first off, yes, I am still alive, and yes, tales of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. What actually happened during my 3-month-hiatus was that for some reason, everyone decided to sign up for my Long Term Coaching Program.
All at once.
I’m not exactly sure why. I was pretty content to coach the small group I had in 2010, but something happened in 2011 because everyone decided to take massive change in the same block of like 2 weeks. Maybe everyone’s New Years Resolutions fell through and they decided to be more proactive. Or maybe everyone thinks the world is going to end in 2012 and they would love to not be alone on judgment day. I have no idea, frankly, but it’s been totally overwhelming the last few months. My program literally tripled in size in a matter of a few weeks.
So yeah. Throw in a quick trip with the girlfriend to Cancun, a few boot camps, a few private coachings, attending a marketing boot camp, attending a public speaking boot camp, attending ANOTHER marketing boot camp (you’d think that this would cause the recent surge in sign ups, but I was too busy to actually start implementing), doing a technical consulting gig for a drama production about pickup artists, doing infield coaching for my LIFT program, a whole lot of scrambling to train dozens of new students, and there you have my last 3 months in a nutshell.
The good news is that results for students have been absolutely spectacular. Like mind-blowingly good.
Several coaching members recently lost their virginity. Other guys got SNLs for the first time.
And then there was the private coaching student.
Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.
He was a 1-on-1 student I coached in January and he came to me a total mess. He was an awkward, stuttering, slouching Pakistani guy with a thick Pakistani accent, bad fashion, and a fear of well, pretty much everything. He was afraid of guns. Girls. Guys. Girls and guys together. Cars. Planes. Fights. Black people. Old people. Young people. It goes on. Like I said, basically everything. Throw in some bad inner game, a culture that taught him to abhor sexuality, and a lifetime of near-virginity, and you’ve got a recipe for OH-MY-GOD-THIS-IS-GONNA-BE-IMPOSSIBLE. I worked with him for about 2 weeks, actually living with him and revamping everything in his life. His posture. His wardrobe. His behavior. His belief system. His sense of humor. His fears. His body language. Even his apartment (we tore everything down and redecorated everything). He ended up pulling several times in the 2 weeks I was there, and then about a half dozen more times in the weeks after I had left. In less than 2 months he ended up pulling a total of 9 times, often back to back nights.
I honestly wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes. It just goes to show you that no matter how bad you THINK you have it, someone else has had it worse and has still managed to succeed in spite of it. Something to think about for those of you who were like me back in the day, thinking, “but it’s different for me. I’m xyz and that’s why I can’t succeed at this.”
Onward to other things.
My friend Adam Lyons (whom I’m sure you’ve heard of) just posted another one of his very useful and very entertaining tutorial videos. If you haven’t looked at his youtube channel yet, definitely do so. I’ve done some minor recording end editing with my channel and I’ll be the first to tell you, each video takes an insane amount of time to produce, shoot, edit, and promote. But beyond just the effort, I genuinely do like the content. In fact, you’ll never see my direct endorsement on any product or service that I don’t believe in and trust, regardless of whether or not it’s a paid affiliate link (which this isn’t). I will never promote something I don’t believe in, even if there’s a lot of money in it for me.
Anyhow, check out Adam’s latest video below. It’s a quick little Facebook hack that Kamo and I have used in the past to get us out of some tough damage control spots. Immediately applicable, real-world, and useful.
Stay tuned for some big things coming soon!

Where was that one Pakistani student from? Did you actually go out to Pakistan to work with him? Or was he doing so well in a western country?

Oh no, he was very much doing this in the United States. I won’t say exactly where to protect his privacy, but it was definitely in the U.S.

Big things? Might it be a book titled “Dj Fuji’s Comprehensive Fundamental Long Term Training Guide to Attracting HB 10 anywhere you go so won’t be lonely and a virgin no more”? LOL.:D
Btw, just curious about the marketing workshops. Which did you attend?
Speaking of marketing, I noticed that you offer a 100% money back guarantee or at least that’s what I read in one of your training programs.
Wouldn’t it be great if you posted that up front and center in your blog. Finding that money back guarantee was like finding a needle in the hay stack. It is a powerful statement that you offer excellent service. And I don’t think any other Pick Up company offers that.
Zappos, which Brand itself as offering superior quality service, has a Free Shipping Both ways for 365 days from the time you purchase your product. That is a powerful statement that very few (if any) online retailers can provide.

Thanks for the feedback, Ken. I was actually in the middle of working on some modifications to the marketing but I’m so booked up right now that I’ve put that on the back burner because I’m having trouble keeping up with current demand as it is.
You’re right that I offer a money back guarantee on ALL of my services, though. Even things like phone coaching and 1-on-1s. Some guys will try to take advantage of that, but it’s part of doing business. I do it so that the honest guys can invest in coaching without worrying about whether it’s going to be worth it.

Can’t wait for your presentation to come online! I like the way you present the information.

Ok Fuji, good to see you back and updating your website. My question for you is, whats up with posting about Street Fighter 4 and not talking about why you did it?!? Haha
I watch a lot of the fighting game community stuff so was surprised to see it on your page.

Oh, the SF4 screenshot was to complement the “still alive. barely” theme. Notice Seth’s health. I play mostly G4WL/PC nowadays. If any of you guys play, look me up. You can probably guess my username.
I actually WAY too many SF4 references when I’m teaching because it’s just SO similar to pick up. We even have similar terminology. Frames, mix ups, etc.
