Chase took the words from my own head as well. He is a gifted write and provided some really valuable insight as do you. I see some of the influences in your life. This was a great one.

You are right as well in regards to the forums. There is a lot of noise there and it does get difficult to filter what is value versus garbage.

You’re doing a great job in your own writings also. Keep at it, bro.

This is an excellent post. My favorite line is:

“Writing one crappy story after another, and knowing they were amateurish, but continuing to write anyway and trying to find ways to refine my ability to write better.”

I love being aware of deficits and using it to develop skill/taste. That’s basically where I am with my writing/blog at the moment, so I can relate.

The crime/genius connection is also incredible. It has been a revelation for me to think of reproduction as perhaps even more a part of evolution as survival. The ramifications of that are huge.

He IS a great writer! Wow.

I totally agree with what you said about Mystery, too. That guy seems like he would be the worst Lifestyle coach in the World (possibly autistic?). But when it comes to his technique on Social skills, and Women– an absolutely incredible man.

Chase on the other hand, seems like he has all the pieces of his Life together.
