Female staff in LA and other areas i've been to are less inclined to take tips. Many do, of course, but i've seen a higher percentage of women that don't take them than men. Maybe it's just in Vegas, but I've noticed that's why she is there, to grease guys for more money (just like why the bartending staff is almost all female these days).
